Economy and Cookies management

Almost every avoidable defeat in Purrfect Dominion starts as an economic mistake, not a battlefield one. Players who produce more can afford to be wrong more often.
This guide covers setting up production, handling reserves and deciding when to spend.
Liquid wealth versus invested wealth
Cookies in your warehouse are liquid wealth: useful, flexible and stealable. Building levels are invested wealth: rigid, but yours permanently.
Experienced players keep liquid only what they need soon and convert the rest. If you're about to stop playing for hours, your warehouse should be as empty as possible.
Raising production in the right order
Upgrading production is almost always the best return early on, because every level keeps paying while you are offline.
Storage capacity comes next: without room, production stops while you're away and you lose hours of output without noticing.
- Production โ capacity โ military โ support structures.
- Never sit at capacity for long: overflow production is simply lost.
- Before logging off, convert reserves into levels or troops.
How much to keep in reserve
A reserve matters: without one you can't react to an attack or seize an opportunity. But an oversized reserve turns you into the most profitable target nearby.
A simple rule: keep enough liquid for a partial rebuild, not for a full expansion.
The hidden cost of an army
Troops don't only cost when you build them. They cost every time you lose them and, indirectly, every time they consume resources you could have invested.
Before expanding your army, ask whether your economy still supports it after a defeat. If the answer is no, the army is too big for you.
Signs your economy isn't working
- You're regularly at capacity when you come back online.
- After a raid it takes days to get back to where you were.
- You keep building troops and postponing building upgrades.
- You never have resources available when you need to react.
Frequently asked questions

- Cookies are the in-game resource you produce by playing. Optional purchases involve Crystal Paws, a virtual currency with no monetary value.
- Why did my production stop while I was offline?
- Almost always because storage was full: raise capacity or empty your reserves before logging off.
